Description
Valse Sentimentale is in ternary form, in 3/4 time and romantic in nature
The first section is a gentle waltz in concert B flat minor minor and the second section by contrast is in G flat major and takes on a barcarolle like quality but remaining in 3/4 not the traditional 6/8. It returns to section one again and the coda brings back a short reminder of the barcarolle theme in B flat major to finish.
The range of the Saxes are around two octaves-
Each part is equally divided to avoid the 1st Sax and 2nd definition. I have set it to intermediate level. It would work well for a variety of occasions. The full score is on the you tube link for you to assess suitability.
