Description
Composed for the expressive and wide sound field of the cello. Both pieces have different characters and musical periods.
The first piece was composed with inspiration from the Romantic Period and was considered as night music. The ending, by moving from A minor to A Major tonality, symbolizes the end of a great night.
The Second piece has a more ethnic musicality. It was composed with the influence of Caucasian and Eastern Anatolian motifs and in terms of sound it is in the form of a waltz. The small cadence it contains is designed like a small elegy played by the cello.
