Description
Sunshine is a happy bright jazz waltz for Clarinet and Piano. There are other versions of this piece available, eg duet versions, and versions for other instruments.
It is in concert F major and in ternary form. Its a great introduction to the jazz waltz style featuring swung quavers/eighth notes and there is a “conversational” type written out improvisation section in the middle- between the players.
The Clarinet part has a range of 2 octaves and the whole score is on the youtube link for you to assess suitability.
It is 3 minutes 30 in length. Upper end intermediate level.
It would work well in a number of situations- concerts, weddings, productions, recitals, graduations etc.
