Introduction
This arrangement of the classic suite of English folk songs by RVW sheds new light on the old beloved. The exchange between the five wind instruments. The question and answer between the various first desks and the band is carefully arranged for each member of the quintet. Giving each member a time for them to shine throughout the whole suite. If the flautist wish to play the triplet passage at the Trio of the first march on the piccolo, there are more than enough time for them to switch to the piccolo and back to the flute.
