Description
This beautiful prelude is no 4 from a set of ten in opus 23. Composed in 1903
I have kept the original key but made significant alterations to make the piece possible to play for pianists who are not quite ready for the full version.
A lot of big chords and big stretches have been avoided (there is nothing greater than an octave) but three note chords remain for the power of this prelude. As the original has a lot of polyrhythms (3 against 2) I have adapted these areas so it is far more user friendly, although some still remain. There is quite a bit of crossed hand work especially on page one, which I have left as it is appropriate.
I have set it to advanced intermediate level, but the youtube link has the whole score for  for you to assess suitability.
5 pages around 5.10 in length.
