Description
Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations for orchestra are very popular. Nimrod is the most well known for the variations and makes for an ideal arrangement for brass, timpani and organ. Using Elgar’s key of E flat major means that both trumpet players and the French horn player need to have control in the high register. The full score has all the individual parts attached and the performance duration is around three and a half minutes.
