Mum’s Celebration is an infectious latin piece composed to celebrate Mum for Mother’s Day. It is an excellent performance piece for solo or whole ensemble (unison) with backing track. Be sure to sing the words as they not only assist students with the rhythm, but send a nice message to Mum.
The score has some teaching and extension ideas including improvisation and composition.
Notes used are all open strings making it an ideal piece to add to your beginner strings collection. Note: There are two double bass parts included – one to follow the melodic contour and the other using open strings.
