Description
Memoria for viola is contemplative and poetic. In the key of G major and 3/4 time, it blends an upward melody with changing harmonies using double and triple stops. Characteristic of the melody are the leaps of a sixth and an octave. At the end of the work, the use of pizzicato is employed in a somewhat poignant way.
