Angelus, transcription for Concert Band of Jules Massenet’s Angelus, from “Scenes pittoresques”. Grade 3. Very nice arrangement, available for all types of bands, even the smallest ones. Many substitution and cue lines for those who don’t have all the instruments needed (oboe, horns, etc …). You’ll enjoy playing this piece, where you’ll hear the angelus bells played by the horns (cued to the trumpets). You’ll like the powerfull orchestral tutti, contrasting with the light melodic lines played by the woodwinds.
