Description
The text to this beloved hymn was written by Horatio G.
Spafford in the midst of overwhelming personal tragedy, and, together with the
musical setting by Philip P. Bliss, is a resounding testimony of faith and
hope. Written for vocal duet, but will work well for a vocal solo as well. Vocal range: D4-E5 (part 1) and G3-B4 (part
2), or can be sung an octave lower for male voices. Piano accompaniment is
intermediate level. 8 pages. Performance time: approximately 3:20. Also
available for piano solo and piano duet.
