Description
“Illusions for string quartet” – is a melodic piece with piano. It begins quietly with the violins playing in unison then splitting into harmony. Other instruments begin joining in for a full sound then ends with the viola and cello alone. This can be played as an ensemble or quartet. The piece begins and ends in a canonic structure with variations in the middle. Great experience playing largo with long continuous bowing and expressive mood.
