Description
Hot Summer Siesta for Flute Choir
This is a languid, moderately easy piece for 8-part flute choir. The music represents my feelings about the current hot spells we’ve been experiencing. There’s a Latin feel, emphasised by the Double Bass part, with all the melodic material forming languid sighs and swoons from the heat. What one needs is a trip to the pool, to lie in the sun and watch time pass.
Parts are supplied for:
4 x C flutes, 2 Alto Flutes, 2 Bass flutes and Double bass.
