Description
I wrote this tune in 1996 and gave it the title of “Homecoming Hymn” with no words in mind. I asked my wife Glenys to write some suitable words. She did, and what beautiful and appropriate words they are!
This is a fairly straightforward arrangement for full orchestra suitable for Solo voice or congregational use.
A Piano part with a Vocal is also included. There are also optional parts for Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophones, Euphonium TC, or BC if you need a Concert Band version…

I was a sinner far from your side
I was not able to see my downfall
But You in Your love

I left You out of my every plan
