Description
This popular hymn composed in 1861 is arranged for intermediate string trio (violin, viola, cello). Each player gets a turn at the melody, or part of it. The piece begins as a duet between violin and viola. The second stanza brings in the cello. Lots of nice interplay among the three parts. Suitable for worship services and church concerts. Concert key: G major.
