Description
A manageable introduction to contrapuntal reading for the intermediate student and above. Part 1 (Verses 1, 2) leans more toward the traditional hymn. A brief four-measure transition leads to a contrapuntal style in Part 2 (Verses 3, 4) with a change in rhythm (diminution) and melody. Each section repeats with first and second endings, allowing the performers to shorten the length, if needed. Appropriate for any Christian Praise & Worship service, recital, concert. Performance Time: 2:49.
