This captivating arrangement of “Allegretto” by the renowned Italian composer and organist Filippo Capocci is a perfect addition to any concert or recital program. Born on May 11, 1840, in Rome, Capocci was a master of organ and harmony, trained by his father Gaetano. Throughout his illustrious career, he held prestigious positions such as organist at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran and choirmaster at the Basilica. His works reflect a neoclassical style, similar to the French organist Alexandre Guilmant.

As a choirmaster, he also created vocal compositions, such as Masses and various other sacred music pieces. His compositions are noted for their orchestral and symphonic qualities.
