“Does the Journey Seem Long?” arranged for intermediate
piano solo. Although traditionally done in a major key, this arrangement starts
out by presenting the melody in a minor key to portray the difficulties of
life’s journey, but transitions to a major key as we reach the end of our
mortal struggles and are welcomed home with a loving, joyful reunion. This
arrangement received the Award of Merit in the 2014 Church Music Submission. 5
