Description
Cecile Chaminade was born in Paris in 1857. Her music is accessible and entertaining, but also with a depth to it that remains of musical interest to this day. Probably her flute concerto is the piece best known, but she wrote a great many fine pieces. This piece, The Water Sprites (Les Willis) was written for piano and published in 1903. This arrangement is set for flute, oboe, Bb clarinet, and bassoon by John Gibson.
