Description

This piece would be a great one to end a christmas event or to use as an entrance piece of music. It is cheerful, effective and catchy for any celebration or concert.

A Carillon is a large musical instrument commonly made up of twenty-four pitched church like bells that are often housed in a large tower. The bells are played by a keyboard like instrument which rings out over a town. This bright and colourful piece of music in a carillon-style sounds based on a three note chime pattern. This work for Concert Band features the Glockenspiel (the German name for a Carillon),Vibraphone and the Tubular Bells (or Chimes). An optional part is provided for Celeste, which can also be played on a good keyboard if you don’t have access to a real celeste. There is also an organ / keyboard part to use for a grand event.
