Description
“Bella Ciao” (“Goodbye Beautiful”) is an Italian folk song that originated in the late 1800’s as a protest song against harsh working conditions for women in the paddy fields of North Italy. Later on, it was modified as an anti-fascist anthem against Nazi German occupying forces and became a song sung worldwide as an anti-fascist hymn of freedom. Most recently, it has been used as an anthem of support during the covid-19 pandemic. This violin solo arrangement includes piano accompaniment and guitar chords.
