Description
Allelu was written to be performed on the composer’s Graduate Recital for his MM in Choral Conducting. It is a celebratory work which consists of three sections, fast, slow, and fast. The fast sections are meant to be dance-like and exciting while the slow section is sweeter and more reflective. The slow section uses a poetic English translation of the Latin text starting in measure 11.
