Description
Charles Stanford arranged these six Irish folksongs for chorus in 1901. They are very well suited for a woodwind ensemble and here they are set for clarinet quartet by John Gibson. The six pieces run about 9 minutes total. This setting is for Bb clarinet 1 and 2, alto clarinet (with an alternate 3rd Bb part if there is no alto), and bass clarinet.
